If in Chicago, try the North Branch bike path. You might be able to park your rig along the westbound lane of Devon Ave in Chicago. There is a lane for parallel parking that is usually empty.

The North Branch bike path runs through the Cook County forest preserve without traveling on streets. It provides a 35+ mile out and back ride.
