Yes really. If people are doing events, it's put in the Shameless Promotions. It's the same for everyone, whether doing a promotional event, showcasing items, or whatever. If you have individual items for sale, however, they are put in the Buy-Sell-Trade forum, provided that they are from a third party link.
In the future, if you have promotional events of some nature, or if there are shops opened, or if there are events you'd like to tell members about, it goes in Shameless Promotions. If there is confusion as to why something is moved, it would be a good idea to review the definitions of the forums provided by Joe, which are located on the
www.bikeforums.net home page. That should clear things up.
