Jon constantly looks for decent scenery to shoot. When he sees something he likes, they stop and wait for the riders to come by. Then they zoom through the field again.

Each time they approach the back of the pack, they need permission from Comm One to pass, but it's never more than a quick wave. They may ask motos not to do that during feeding because that's when team cars are trying to get to their riders and will use both lanes.

At Missouri, we had four or five camera motos like tis one, plus two or three of the video motos.

The best job is NOT selecting the podium girls. The best job is driving Comm One (immediately behind) or Comm Two (immediately in front of the peloton). Those guys see everything.
Awesome video, thanks for the link and insight!
