Kind of a two-fer this weekend - Saturday climbing Mt Diablo with Bikingshearer for a total of ~3000' of climbing and 40 miles, and Sunday a local organized metric with fellow BF'ers Markopolo, Lanceoldstrong, Midland, and Blankcrows.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. You decide which is which, but the important thing is that we rocked the casbah in style today. From left to right - Pogliaghi, Tommasini, and Chesini:


Sucked into a pace-line behind a race team, we hung on for many miles and followed them into the lunch stop. What a ride that was - These folks knew what they were doing, and it was a real blast riding in the pocket at 20+ mph with negligible expenditure of energy:
