I occasionally purchase stuff from Nashbar and have since the late 80s. But on the few occasions (4 or 5) when I've made inquiries regarding a technical aspect of a product, the person on the phone or via email assures me that someone from their "technical dept" will get back to be shortly with an answer. I can say without exception, I've never had a single response from said "dept".
