...And another thing. I find that on grueling group rides when everyone has to dig deep and go way past their limit I'm more of a factor on the ride and can inflict more pain on my non-Clyde riding buddies. I don't know if this is legitimate or just a self-aggrandizing delusion. Either way, I attribute this to the fact that as a Clyde I’m more used to suffering on the bike and have perfected it, while non-Clydes are in unfamiliar territory.
