Hello from Winston-Salem, NC!
A fabulous day here. Sunny, mid Sixties. This will be short so I can do a quick ride.
I am a long time cyclist with 30 year history. I enjoy road riding in the countryside, light trail riding at our local cycling magnet...Salem Lake. Extended touring, some Centuries and club rides around the State are included in my background. Finally, I have been car free since 2006 relying on the bike with occassional bus support for my commuting needs.
Mechanically adept I do all of my own repairs and enjoy the challenges of matching my needs and expectations for a given bike to gearing options, figuring out the ROI of upgrading.
At 63 I look forward to meeting other mature riders in the neighborhood.
