Front + rear brakes operated by one brake lever

Hey guys, right-side-disabled rider here. When I built up my Surly Disc Trucker a couple years ago, I was working with a shop where the staff all played bike polo, and they recommended the Paul Duplex lever. It has worked wonders for me; they arranged it so one brake actuated at different points, too.

Shop bodged together a 2 wheel trailer brake scheme with a QBP "Problem solvers" 1 into 2 cable doubler ,
to pull the cables to 2 drum brake hubs.
so a single brake lever can use that piece in the middle Too..

Sunlite & Pyramid make a dual pull brake levers that will apply both brakes, available on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Pyramid-Alloy-...ll+brake+lever
and
https://www.amazon.com/Sunlite-Alloy-...ll+brake+lever
SJS also makes one, a little more expensive:
Twin Pull V Brake Lever - Left - £29.99
and, if you prefer hydraulic, Tektro makes a complete set:
TEKTRO BRAKE SYSTEMS
They say they are intended for trikes, with two front brakes. How safe they would be for front and rear, I can't say.

Perspective: there are those you ride coaster brakes (no front brake at all. There are those who ride fix gears with no rear brake. There are those who ride fix gears with no brakes at all. Any bike can be ridden relatively safely using almost any brake system ever dreamed up. The rider just has to be aware of the limitations and stay within them.
I am not condoning the systems I just mentioned. But there are those with many miles of accident free riding on all of them. Both brakes operated by one control, if set up properly and operated within its limits, could work very well.
