Handcycle lap belt help

Hello everyone,

I have been searching for a lap belt that I can use that confoms to the UCI regulations. I need it to be quick release and have some padding. I would love to hear what some of you are using and any ideas that you may have.

Thanks

My belt is just a 2 inch wide nylon strap with Velcro the whole length which wraps around the frame behind the seat. I would think a shoe or luggage repair place should be able to make one.

Thats a good idea. I have a lead on having one made from a friend with a side release latch. I just want to make sure it is legal. The wording of all of the rules is so vage and leaves alot open to interpritation.
