I piss off other drivers when I'm driving by following the speed limit laws. Just today, I had a car behind me tailgate me for several miles before he ran a red light and used the intersection's left turn only lane as a passing lane to pass me at the intersection. I suppose I provoked him into making a dangerous overtake by not speeding?
Very well said. Others say without the video we don't know what happened. It doesn't matter what happened the cyclist makes it clear that the cop did NOT have to pass plan and simple. He could have patiently waited until it was safe and there was no traffic on the other side of the road to pass if he was really in a hurry. However like most people they are in far too much of a hurry to get where they are going which puts all cyclist in danger.
