After any disaster you get all the coincidence stories. Folks who weren't there because of an accident, illness, traffic jam, last minute change of plans, etc. You also hear stories of victims who were only there because of some happenstance.

Just 2 days before 9/11, Sunday, I watched a TV show about 10 possible terror targets in the USA. 8 of them only gave me a hohum, Sears Tower, Statue of Liberty, Prudential in SF, etc
But the Twin Towers and Pentagon gave me an instant jaw drop and dread feeling. I have had many others come true.

True that. 9/11. My tenant was on his way to a meeting in the Pentagon but forgot his wallet and went back to his office to get it. Saved his life.

If his meeting was in the section of the Pentagon that was hit. I hope it wasn't.

Have your "feelings" influenced your financial forecasting and/or lottery picking decisions? Has it helped?

Of Course. I have several close calls AND a cheque for $373,896.10 to prove it. All MY numbers, not quik picks.

Wow, I am impressed. Any predictions for the next Super Bowl, or American college football playoff winners?

I was spared from the Oklahoma City bombing, the first trade center bombings, 9/11, Benghazi, and the Paris attacks. Hadn't even thought of traveling to those cities at those times. Just stayed home doing my day job. What a coincidence to be spared from all those disasters. What are the odds.

So I gather you haven't heard the story of the church furnace that blew up when the choir was to be gathered.... Except ALL of them were late for some weird reason.

And there's A Hitler who escaped death no less than 50 times.
