Two surveys I urge everyone to look at:
"51 percent of respondents reported that they loathe sharing the road with bad drivers, more than cyclists, buses, taxis, joggers, and walkers combined.

Nearly all Americans (97%) rate themselves as "careful" drivers, but feel that only 29% of fellow drivers merit the description."

And countless other things I see out there between motorists.
Some people we will never convince. The best we can hope is agreement that everyone needs to be reasonably respectful and safe on the road.

+1,000,000

About the only exception I can see many making is if it were a very cute naked gal riding her bike down the street, then I'm sure that they wouldn't complain. Maybe they'd complain that she wasn't wearing a helmet.
