Kind of a strange example but a real one, where life insurance was denied because the knife guy could have expected an escalation in lethal force. Just an example that illustrates that what you should expect that might happen is also important, in addition to what you "intended", or didn't intend, to happen.

Note: trolling the Internet seeking nutty "comments" made by cranks to blogs and Internet news stories and posting the cherry picked dreck is not a very good method to gather data or facts on any subject.

Can you point out any posts on BF from clueless motorists regarding the "value" of lives of cyclists? Or are those "assumptions" actually made by BF Henny Pennys arguing with one of their favorite strawman about conjured boogymen?

You are "defending" against strawman arguments made/assumed by various BF posters that are projected into the minds of their conjured boogyman motorists.

Otherwise, consider that you are supporting the strawman argument, by complaining about my defense. Go back to sleep old man.

Gene, if I knew your middle name I could scold you like your mother. Be nice, you've BOTH been banned before and why do it again?
Let's get back to the topic or close it. This tiff is garbage on all sides.

A few years ago, near here, a seventeen year old girl was texting while driving. She ran into the back of a van carrying a family of seven. The van was knocked into an intersection where it was struck by a loaded semi-truck doing about 45mph. They all burned to death, an entire family of seven, burned to death. As I heard it, she tried to call it an accident.

It seems to me that the same reasoning should apply to "intent" with regards to traffic accidents. If you should have had sufficient expectation that the outcome might occur, then it was intentional enough that it could not be an accident.
