He should have swerved into the oncoming lane rather than swerving right.

I realize you're being snarky, but one of the big controversies on the racing FB/message boards is that the centerline rule was in effect all the way through start/finish.

just so you know caloso i tried to follow your centreline link, got to a page about beyonce, and then my browser crashed. (not dangling by 30 feet, it just crashed)

re the crash - I have beev watching old lord of the rings videos. At least dangling cyclist wasn't dealing with a Balrog...
