Yes. I also wear eyeglasses. And lightweight full fingered gloves, summer and winter, with leather palm-side. My mirror rarely gets so wet that I can't see but my gloves act as a chamois if necessary. My eyeglasses will get spray on them in a heavy rain in traffic (helmet has a visor) so the gloves are a great thing to have on. If the mirror gets fogged up or something, a quick wipe with a gloved finger fixes that.

So, every person has full range of motion in their neck to be able to look behind them on both sides every 10 seconds? It's amazing that there do not exist any people in the world who maybe have back or neck injuries that keep them from turning their head that far.

Also, before I had LASIK, I couldn't see well enough out of the side of my vision to see cars much behind me when I turned my head. I could see 20/20 with a mirror though.

...without steering them INTO the passing traffic as well? Few cyclists I know can hold a perfect line in traffic while looking back. I can barely do it and I have years of roadie experience riding inches from other riders at high speeds for practice.
