I hope things work out for you my friend. I'm new to this board and I've just been able to catch up on your story.

Peace

Whoa whoa whoa 3 YEARS?

Is that the best they can do for what appeared to eyewitnesses as someone trying "to make a statement with his vehicle"?
I guess political pull has it's advantages

He should have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, not hit and run. Hit and run may be easier to prove because it requires less intent, but he's getting off easy.

Heck, I'd say attempted MURDER! He knew what kind of damage a big truck can do to a guy on a light bicycle. If he was really trying to help, why didn't he go back to Torrin? He saw Torrin fall and didn't go back. He knew that something like that could kill. Intended. Hmmmph. Yeah he's getting off easy.
