I didn't think Canadians did this. I hope the guy with the club said he was sorry.

Many or even most people would say that while they disagree with the truck guy beating the cyclist, they understand the truck guy's frustration and anger with cyclists.

To me this is only tangentially a cycling issue. It seems more about two guys with nothing better to do than argue over some silliness. Just a shame stupid people have such an easy time finding each other.

Good point. Let's face it, many or even most people would say that while they disagree with husbands beating their wives, we all understand that guys can get frustrated and angry with their women-folk.

As gruesome as this is, it's a good thing he assaulted the cyclist with a club rather than his truck. The latter probably would have resulted in a dead cyclist, and the driver probably wouldn't face any serious charges. As it is, I think he's going to see some serious charges, not to mention a whole lot of community outrage for brutally assaulting a senior with a weapon.

Oh, and don't Google "rubber club" if you've got an aversion to gay fetish sex!
You should watch this take on this video:

Who the heck carries a gnu? A water buffalo, sure. Everybody's got a water buffalo. But a gnu? I don't think so.

Story made it onto Jalopnik where the comments should be interesting.
Tried to link it but didn't like the looks of the link and don't have time to fix it.

Why? While they can be aggressive, it's possible a having a pet would have made him less irritable.
