Cyclist was probably confused/worried by the car dogging him. He should have been able the read the situation better and reserved the hand signal for close passers. Funny video.

YYYYeahhh....being a cyclist I believe that's one I would have had to stop for and ask, "Why?"

Inconsiderate drivers really irritate me. Inconsiderate cyclists irritate me more x10.

By hovering inside the white line, the cyclist was essentially signaling to RJ to go ahead and pass. By refusing and loitering behind, it annoyed the cyclist, which I can understand. However, no excuse for the finger really.

Sometimes when getting passed the driver "guns it" as he goes by, and it does seem kind of like a statement being made, but not something to flip birds over.

The cyclist was annoyed? Too bad, he doesn't get to make decisions for the motorist. It is the driver's responsibility to decide when he feels it is safe to pass, not the cyclist's. Sometimes a cyclist can see around a curve, for example, before the following motorist can and indicates it is safe. Yet it is still the responsibility of the driver to KNOW it is safe. It annoys me to no end, people waving me and motioning trying to indicate to me what I should be doing (what THEY WANT me to do) as I drive. You drive yours, I'll drive mine.

Bikesnob gets frustrated. NSFW warning: Eban uses bad words from time to time. OK, pretty much all of the time. But he's right about Terra Chips.
