Energy Bill

Did the energy bill that congress pass have any provisions for bike commuters? I know hybrids get some kind of break.

Come on. Get serious. Congress is owned be big business (oil and auto makers) so what do you think. Lip service at best.

Don't think there were any breaks, but there was some money for promoting biking as a commuter. Don't know the details, but think it was in the neighborhood of $200,000.

Massachusetts garnered about 4 mil for bike paths.

The Northampton to Boston "dream" is a bit closer to fruition.
