PDX Traffic Enforcement Action, feb. 22

Here's a report on the latest "sting". It amazes me that, even with the attention being given to this weekly event, warnings in the local press, official warning signs with orange flags, the presence of the "media" and activists standing on the sidewalk warning bikers, there were still some takers for these $242.00 tickets.

We've had signs indictating that my street and some nearby ones are traffic enforcement priorities, but I haven't seen a speed trap in months. Motorists probably assumed that it was another lie. But I still don't feel sorry for the ones who get caught.
