Ah, it doesn't take long. The county highway district repainted the bike lanes in my neighborhood yesterday. I was commuting in today, feeling smug with my own lane, nicely swept and freshly painted with the deluxe reflective type!! Arrggh! Day Glow Orange paint right on top of the bike lane Heck the bike lane striping wasn't even 24 hours old! More utility work for new development.

A relative of mine loves to give presents to my daughter.
Unfortunately, they are often things like hand-me-down used lipstick and dried out makeup.

Bike paths remind me of this relative.

Servus!

Wow, I'm surprised that there is any bike lane in Tucson at all! Badger, been up in the Valley lately? EVERY road that I used to ride on has been widened and/or "improved" in some shape or form. More room for all those SUV's that Arizona residents love so much.

For months, I had about 4 miles of road all to myself. DOT was extending the 101 Loop and the road along the designated route was closed. I had a free hand during the day because all major road construction in AZ occurs during the night (due to the blistering heat.) Like living in heaven....
