Chicago Street Clean Up
I've been on the board a short time and I've been searching to see if anyone in Chicago does some sort of street clean up or something.
A friend of mine have gone out a few times and cleaned up some streets just for ourselves but I was wondering if there is an sort of group that cleans up especially dirty and dangerous streets. If not I'm going to start using my friend's car and a couple industrial brooms to sweep away the broken glass from Saturday nights and car windows.

We're not in Chicago, but my husband and I do this every Sunday in our own neighborhood here in Southern California. We take trash bags along with us on a walk and pick up litter along the way. There's still a lot of litter because we live near a high school, but nowhere near as much as there was when we 1st started. We can now complete the entire 1-1/2-mile walk with only kitchen-sized trash bags.
