this has been in the paper every day since it happened. very sad, but at least it looks like the judge is going to throw the book at the guy. people like this are the ones that really scare the crap out of me

I am surprised it isn't just treated like an "accident"-- since vehicular "crimes" have been largely decriminalized in the US. Ordinary driving on a suspended license is treated as no big deal.... you literally have to kill someone before anyone notices.
