I think I was harassed??

I'm not sure because it all happened so fast. the wife and i were walking the dog on a sidewalk next to our apartments. I saw a car about 300 feet away approaching at normal speed. When he got to about 100 feet away he accelerated very fast, i'd estimate he went from 40 to 55 in about 7 seconds, and its a quiet residential road. my wife and the dog were standing right on the curb, i tugged them a few feet inward to make room for this moron, while he was accelerating (i could hear his little honda motor being revv'd hard) he swerved sharply into the bike lane, he was maybe 2 inches from the curb and stayed there (occupying the bike lane) right past us and stayed in it for about another 50 feet. If my wife stayed on the curb he probably wouldn't have hit her, maybe hit her with his mirror it's tough to say. I figure 1) he swerved into the bike lane to harass us or 2) he didn't see us and was swerving because he was drunk or dumb or both, in which case it's a little scarier because it was late at night on a street with few street lights and under thick tree cover, if there had been a cyclist in the bike lane that forgot his blinkie or something he would have been probably fatally hit.

Probably some ricer wannabe.

On a similar note, I'm not sure, but I think I might have been harrassed today. As I was riding to work at lunch, one kid in a group of teens yelled for me to give him my bike. Might of been a joke, might have been trying to start something. I didn't have time to go back and find out. Plus, even though I was on my rain bike, I was moving along at a good clip, so by the time his remarked registered with me, I was half a block away.
