Post-Crash Helmet Exchange

I vaguely remember reading something about Bell exchanging helmets if you sent one after a crash.

Of course, now that I have one of those crashed helmets, I don't have the info about the exchange.
Anyone know about this?

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

My LBS always handled the helmet exchange.

i heard that bell backed out of this policy years ago. they went from anytime return (bell-biker 1980) to a with/in the year of purchase you could return helmet for a form of replacement (with a $40.00 s/h charge +/-1997).
i really don't know current policy. go to bell.com.... also, get a new helmet after crashing, loose the damaged one either way. be safe!

Thanks. I emailed Bell, but no reply yet.
I'm still dingy two and a half days after my crash.
