in poster 1 that red car is turning onto a one-way street.
strikes me as not necessarily about 'bike safety' as about 'not recklessly threatening anyone and everyone in your path'.

In poster one, the red car is coming OUT of a one way street. Look closely at which way the one-way arrow is pointing.

i actually didn't even look at the one-way sign. i was observing that all the traffic and parked cars on the road the car is turning onto is going one way...

Most streets in NYC are one way. And there are cars parked on the left, so this one is one-way, too.

Maybe I'm a bit slow, but I didn't immediately understand who the campaign is addressing, the motorists or the cyclists.
