I'm guessing that Midwestern towns which stay cold for longer stretches than Northwestern ones, don't have the freeze/thaw/freeze cycles that make riding in our rare NW snow more dangerous. I know Midwesterners and Coloradans who do ride all or almost all winter. That being said, the complainer is probably an America-hater who wants everyone to drive enough to allow the Saudis to own our whole country, right? Patriots pedal, traitors drive.

Why give this jackass any more publicity, or drive more traffic to his website?
