Bikes are a good thing for criminals not *talented* enough to jack cars.

who said anything about stealing cars from a ex cons perspective the bicycle makes a exellent urban getaway vehicle

I've long thought that a bicycle would make an excellent getaway vehicle. Nobody looks at cyclists.

Not that I've seriously considered committing a serious crime or anything. Perish the very thought.

As for the story in the OP; I guess high gas prices are effecting all parts of society. Maybe they could cut down on shootings by raising the price of bullets.

there have been stories of successful robberies committed on bicycles including a bank robbery

theyre already expensive i have certain ones shipped in from texas cause they ship them in from mexico
