pretty similar to what NiteIze already offers and they have more applications, though not as long. The niteize also reflect brightly when a light hits them, so you get passive and active lighting out of them.

You've posted this is four different forums now.

Seems like spamming at this point.

Agree. These things only work well when they're in motion, like strapped to your leg or something.

First of all, this is hardly a glow stick.
It's a solid core fibre optic, with 2 LED's at each end, powered by 2 aaa batteries. It's flexible and fits just about anywhere on you bike or on clothing.
It's nothing like niteize. To be truthfull, niteize is a cheap and nasty product, this is a high end safety product and will last for years if you take care of it (It will take care of you).
As far as spamming goes? Well, this is a relevant product to all who would like to live, while riding their bike at night, it is without doubt the BEST rear light on the market and our feedback from Interbike suggests as much. You'll see them in stores soon enough.
Or, you can just stick with your standard LED same same product. Trust me when you see one you'll want one.

I have doubt.

Because you are transmitting light across a greater surface area, the emitted light will be duller (emittance to surface area) than with the same two raw LEDs. The battery life (75 in flashing) is also shorter than many LED lights out there. Cost wise, I am expecting these to be pricey.

So why not announce it when you actually have a website or a product in stores?

True, it looks pretty. However, that means nothing - you're spamming for a product that doesn't exist yet!!!

I've got a NiteIze light and like it quite a bit - it's light, very visible, reflective as well as a light. . .and very simple to use - not much there to break. Yours looks like it's quite heavy (comparatively - and with 2 AAA batteries, it's gonna be a lot more than the NiteIze) and breakable.

But then since there is no product available yet, this is all just farting into the wind. Hope you're downstream!

Fibre Flare is fresh... don't dis it until you see it!

Fibre Flare IS available at most bike stores now... I got one myself..... its very cool and it IS an LED product.. it uses a high intensity fibre optic to distribute the LED light in every direction.. very cool, very bright and very clever.. way brighter than any Nite-Ize product.... You can clip it to your jeans, bag, bike or whatever.. I dig it..

check out the FIBRE FLARE Video Clip and see for yourself.. its fresh!!!!
