Tow Cycle Hilarity

hey fellow advocates, was driving home this afternoon through the city area. Crossed an intersection and a bike shot out from the side and turned to join in the same direction as me. I saw him appear from nowhere and as I have a small ute (i.e. pickup) (Dodge D-50) I moved to one side of my lane, which left him about half a lane in case he needed it. Kept going and about 5o yards on I glimpsed in my rear view and he was hanging onto my tray (bed). I was only in third and doing about 10 mph. Didn't know if he knew that I knew he was there. So the guy kept hanging on to the bed of my pickup and I towed him about 4 blocks. I was acting like I had no idea in case a sheriff spotted us. Later I had to stop for a light and the dude scooted on past me darted across in front jumped onto the sidewalk. But as he went in front, he gave me the thumb-up. So I guess he knew I knew. It was a crazy way to end the day and I wonder what some people thought when they saw us as the street was crowded.

Was this in sydney? Might have been me! I do this a coupla times a day.
Also, for everyone except australians, a Ute is a pickup truck.

You better not anymore, or you're going to get kicked out of A&S for desiring any car-related object.

I desire a car-related object, and I'm sure that if Danica and I ever meet she will desire me as well.

ok so now I get that the Mad Max cars were not really that wild within the Austrailian context

OT: are any of the old shows like "Skippy the Kangaroo" and "Magic Boomerang" on late night reruns?

Is it a deep down evil secret amongst A&S members that a number of us do like cars - as cars?

The green 4 door job isn't standard - someone has cut the trunk of a Holden Kingswood sedan and added an extra axle as well (pretty sure the front end is not standard either - off a later model).

The masked white ute is the newer Ford. Might be ugly, but proven and useful!

Holden Kingswood ... hmm ... looks a lot like my Dad's Ford sedan, from the early 1980s.

Six wheels ... how do you turn that thing?
