my latest rides.

So I went out on a ride today and on the route that i normaly take it brings me to a moderately buissy 4 way intersection (no more than maybe 2 cars waiting at a time) Well today i rolled up to the stop bar. stopped. noone was fully stopped but me at the time. I started going and then this guy does a california roll and almost hits me! so I yell at him and then i flick him off (probably a bad idea) and on some of my latest rides Ive been having.. i dont want to say aggresive motorist behavior but dangeroulsy stupid. and Instead of letting it go like i normaly do I get all pissed off and yell and flip the bird and Just monday I chased a guy down the road till i was tired. I dont get it tho why do i do this? and I know its bad for the cycling community. I cant tell if people are being more and more stupid and this is just how i react. Or if its the heat (live in ohio and we are in summer and temps range from high 80's to mid 90's) and the humidity is something stupid like 75%+ so its very hot. What should i do? start leaving earlyer before the sun is a sweltering death ray? because I know im not doing us any favors by yelling at these idiots. sorry just needed to rant.

THANKS
Sean Scott

You shouldnt have stopped, then you would have been through the intersection before the car rolled through. If he was approaching the intersection at the same time as him, you should have waved him through as you were slowing down. Then he would have been out of your way before you had even stopped. Wave and smile at these motorists as you call the all sorts of vile names, which they wont hear.

cuz its a busy enough intersection where I need to stop. and he heard me lol cuz his window was down. but this is the second time someone has done this to me at the intersection. its insulting. my acceleration is just as fast as a car. and today one of my favorite rest spots is this big tree in a cemetery (im on my road bike with all my road gear on. looking half way between a fred and a pro) not bothering anyone and this old man honks at me and points his finger at me and tells me to "GET OUT!" "WE DON'T ALLOW BICYCLES IN THE CEMETERY! and i was like whatever old man. im just enjoying myself im not destroying property or anything! Im sorry my vehicle of choice doesn't have as much pollution output!

RIDICULOUS!
