I really don't know what to make of Don Q. My only strong feeling is that some people should not be allowed to do polls

I assume he is either a kid, or a well-meaning character who's just a bit "off" when it comes to social interaction. In either case it would be inappropriate to create threads attacking him personally.

That said, I actually think his latest poll poses an interesting and relevant question...

It does. Too bad that wasn't his original intent.

DQ is most certainly not a kid. Likely an older gent. Despite his sometimes agenda driven polls, he's prolly an entertaining guy to hang out after a few beers.

Put him on ignore and don't click on his threads if you don't like him.

Some people get all fired up about him (in a negative way). I don't get it.

He has a lot to say and passionate about bike/ped issues. He is also riding in the
most violent bike culture in the whole USA. His eccentricity is his defense mechanism.
The delivery may not fit the accepted standard format of the boorish attack based opinion
fitting of a correct A&S post, but there can be no doubt he promotes good stuff

I hope Im that enthusiastic in 5 years

He's been helpful to me:
After 4 years with putting up with anything on this site, this morning DonQ prompted me to look for and learn to use the "ignore user" feature. So he's made me learn a useful skill!

Possible?

You forgot about his last visit? A&S seemed tame and calm after DQ disappeared for half a year afterwards.

Now we're back to filtering through four or five rows of nonsensical DQ postings to find any topic with the slightest of redeeming qualities. To say that DQ is spamming the forum would be more fitting.

Gentlemen, we don't start threads targeting other members. You can start all the threads you wat giving them Kudos, but don't target then negatively. Thanks
