71% of drivers believe that it's unacceptable to drive while talking on a cell phone, yet half the drivers on the road seem to have a phone in their ear at ANY GIVEN TIME.

Sounds good - one can even follow the live webcast on your way home from work.

ya... thats a slide I pulled from the...
webcast?

i know its a long video to watch, but really, its...
how would i put it...

being from DOT
i suppose we could say that its the most up to date and official measure/statement of our transportation system.

seems to me...
lately there has been an increase of cyclists being killed in car vs cyclist incidents.

this webcast, is to the point
specifically in regard to being "distracted"
from the disaster at Chatsworth, to the all too common cell phone/car issue.

being a person of the car free persuasion, something that has caught my attention from this webcast...
was something one of the guys mentioned, I believe he's a CEO of a bus company...

something along the lines of...
"if you need to Text, Talk, or Tweet, use Transit"

i think thats a solid point, and a viable option, in regards to immediately addressing the epidemic of "Distracted Drivers"

driving is a privilege
right?
