    Thought Du Jour

One of Canadas national newspapers, The Globe and Mail, has a daily section called Social Studies; A daily miscellany of information. It always ends with a thought of the day.

When I read todays, I couldn't help but think of A&S.

So, in other words, few things are as serious as they may appear -- right?

Damn -- and here I was wondering where 'don't sweat the small stuff' comes from -- according to some, it's ALL small stuff!

There's also the wisdom of 'take care of the pennies, and the dollars will take care of themselves'.

Very timely. I'm starting a couple of new, potentially stress-inducing projects this week, and I will definitely keep that thought in mind.

    Or, more simply:

    Don't sweat the petty things,
and don't pet the sweaty things!

That works for me. She considers herself a person not a thing and glows with perspiration.
