Compilation of Chinese Traffic Accidents on Campus

That was hilarious!
You would think that they would install a stop sign or give way sign at a couple of those intersections. Again and again the same stuff - riding/driving wearing blinkers! Just looking right in front and not to the sides or further ahead. |
The third accident has some merit. At least the bicyclist stopped so the motorcycle wouldn't have any problem with aim. How nice of him.
Riding with an umbrella. I have never seen that before. I've seen a cigarette in one hand and a cell phone in the other, but never an umbrella. |
when the guy standing there gets hit from behind in slow motion.. really, wtf?

WTF indeed! |
Very similar the situation here in Tawan. Stop signs are usually painted on the road, not marked with a sign on a pole. But the vast majority of people interpret them to mean "Don't stop unless you physically can't move forward". "Everyone is expected to watch out for me" is also a common subconcious practice. People drive where they want, the way they want, and a handful of others drive semi-defensively to prevent everything from piling up. Sad, but a daily fact of life. I've been fortunate not to have been in an accident, but it's because my senses go on "high" when I get out on the road.
