Whether or not you think it should be illegal or not, it's pretty common sense that if you've gotten hammered in a bar you shouldn't try to do a balancing test on a bike.

Don't see how anyone could think 'it' should be legal -- most people have trouble WALKING after one too many; there is no justification for operating any other form of transport in that condition. When we have the 'Auto-Drive' like Will Smith had in "I, Robot", then people can drink themselves silly and I won't care. (Oh, and that goes for dope, too.)
