You can do everything right, and some a-hole can stick wreck your life. Lucky cyclist.
I normally check for cross traffic even when I have the right of way... But would I have noticed the runaway car that caused this accident? I'm really not sure.

Nice find.
A few years back I had a similar hit-and-push-through-a-red while proceeding on a green light.
But nowhere near that hard, and nowhere near that close.
