vote for Communicycle bicycle co-op!
https://www.refresheverything.com/communicycle
The co-op that I work for has a shot at a grant to continue and expand our services. you can vote once a day for the next month. even if we don't win, we can benefit from all the exposure of being near the top. vote now and vote often!

I am behind the cause. But I do not pay to send a text message to someone that simply wants to collect my cell phone number for resale.
If you have an internet vote page, I would do that.

hm, i don't think you have to send a text message. i am pretty sure you can just vote by clicking the "vote for this idea" button. yeah, they are probably going to market pepsi products to you. sorry, i don't represent Pepsi. I don't know what they do with your information.

^^
That requires a pepsi account with my e-mail and a password. So they want my information before I can vote. Sorry, but that is a no go as well.

actually I just looked at the process again, and you can opt out of the marketing part. they just want enough information to know that you're a real person and not a bot voting over and over again. i won't be offended if you don't vote anyways, but i thought that would be helpful for anyone hesitant to give their name and email address to Pepsi.

if it's working, please keep voting! we are moving up in the ranks but we have a long way to go to get in the top ten. make it your browser homepage and vote once a day if you can.
thanks.
Oh, for an example of what I have been up to, I built a bike for a Congolese refugee named Anadha yesterday. He fled Congo several years ago and had to live in Cairo, Egypt for six years before moving to the US. he needed a bike to ride to work. Despite his education and ability to speak eight languages, he cleans up a sports stadium after games and cannot pay his rent on this income, but he continues to work hard. now he is excited to be in the US for the past three months because he has not celebrated Christmas for many years in Egypt.
Anadha had been given a very old Huffy ladies road bike that was totally unrideable and too small for him. I set him up with a 19" aluminum Fuji mountain bike that had been donated to us, then overhauled.
Kenny is in an addiction recovery program and rides his bike everywhere. He was badly in need of new brake pads, a saddle bag, and some adjustments.
thanks.
