Danes face crowded bikeways, plans to ease cyclist congestion in copenhagen

A companion story from bicycling magazine to randya's thread about the crowded dutch bikeways-

apparently crowded bikeways are not only in amsterdam. Cycling is so successful in Copenhagen the Danes also need to do something about the crowded bikeways there.

copenhagen bikeways crowded

Their plan is to widen the bikeways to superbicyclehighway status along select routes, and further prioritize cyclist traffic on main routes there.

I wonder what Botto is going to think about this article? Can I post an article about Copenhagen, even though i don't live there?

do you have a seatpost stuck somewhere it shouldn't be?

I find it interesting that both Copenhagen and Amsterdam are suffering from congested cycling conditions. victims of their own successes, people are encountering bikejams.

those respective cities have plans to widen and improve the cycletracks, to take away more space from the cars and dedicate it to bicycle traffic.
