Anyone going and where to stay? My estimate would be about $2000 to stay at the conference location including the registration.

Maybe we'll finally get a comprehensive, enforceable, carbon ban treaty and end the proliferation of carbon bikes among freds.

I haven't plunked down the plastic just yet and signed up, but will be going.

There are a few cheaper options, depending where you're coming from, and where you stay. Registration is a big chunk, but you can get a substantial discount if you are an IMBA member, and register before the 1st of February -- cheaper even than the rate the League gives its own members. IMBA even feeds you on Wednesday night.

Shop around, there are a few cheaper places to stay than the host hotels. Or you can couch surf...

Thanks for the info. I will check out the IMBA. Never belonged before. Give me some ideas about where you may be staying and how to get from there to the meetings. I def would like to stay thru Sat for the ride. I have a travel trailer and had thought about trying to find a campground some where near so I could bike or combine biking/public transit to the meetings. If you would like, pm me.

So would that need to include the elimination of all carbon based life forms? :-)
