Ouch photo.

So I figured this was the best forum to post this in. I found this on photosig.com, it's not me. It's what happens when your front tire fails going around a corner.

Anybody got any others they want to post.

I had my front tire blow out on a corner at about 18 mph. My left cheek looked pretty similar when it happened, in May. The wound is down to about a silver dollar sized stain 7 months later. I learned not to try and read a hand held cue sheet, while cornering, through gravel, in new shorts.

That looks like it freakin hurt! I got the gravity test once this past summer when my back tire slipped on a wet street car track. I had a bruise the size of my hand on my ass in almost the same place as our friend there. All black, purple and blue but nowhere near a big and ugly as that one.

It is also a good reason not to use tubulars unless you know how to put them on and take the care to do it right each and every time.

Yikes! Nice wound! Those are referred to as a "hippers" in skateboarding ( shiver) . Sometimes they fill up w/ fluid and make it difficult fit into clothing. g'luck and speedy recovery.
