Tampa Ride report
Been down in sunny Tampa for the past 2 weeks, riding 2 to 4 hours every day. Tampa seems to be putting some effort into non auto infrastructure, way better than home anyway where there is none. I have ridden most all the mups, many on street bike lanes, taken the lane, and even the side walk (horrors) when I felt it necessary. Maybe I'm just lucky, or my riding style, but I found Tampa drivers to be very courteous. I had no issues whatsoever. I did limit my riding to non rush hour. The only bone heads I came across were several groups of full kit racer wannabes pace lining on the upper tampa bay trail this crowded saturday morning.
Next stop Ft Meyers, hoping the riding is as good.
Feels so good to get some miles in these legs.
