Giro Pneumo
Hey guys and gals,
My parents gave me some money for xmas to get a helmet. I've been looking around and I want something that's strong, not very thick (so I dont look like a mushroom), stylish, comfortable, and sleek/aero. I came across the Giro Pneumo and thought it looked pretty slick. Aside from ebay, where would be a good, cheap place to purchase these helmets? Or, does anyone have a suggestion on something similar or something that falls into the categories I listed, without being horribly overpriced? I'm looking to max out at around $100. And I know the Pneumo retails for about $140, but I've seen it around $70-$100 on ebay. Any suggestions or comments on what I have come across so far would be appreciated. I'm looking at getting one in a week'ish. I just have to go to the bike shop and size my head, because I have a big noggin'. Thanks!
Oh, and I also got a bike rack for christmas for the car. Pretty good presents!

Each brand of helmet has its own peculiar shape, and each head has its peculiar shape. Sometimes, the peculiar shape of a brand of helmet does not match the peculiar shape of a head. Unless you have tried on a Giro helmet, preferably a Pneumo, you should reconsider buying one on-line, especially on ebay.
