PSA: Farm Bureau Insurance - Safe Driving Around Bicyclists

Found this on the Save11 site, which is aimed at distracted driving among young drivers.
Since most of the US population get their information from the TV, there needs to be more of these positive PSAs in TV ads, funded by car insurance companies. This will eventually make changes in the mindset of the general population regarding sharing the road with non-motorized traffic.

Yeah, that typo bothered me, too. At times the mistakes are understandable, but in titles, one really does need to proof read a bit better.

IMO, much of the money spent on bicycle infrastructure would be have a far broader and more positive overall impact for cycling if it was spent on driver education and awareness of cyclists' rights and how to share the road with cyclists. That goes for written driving tests, billboards, TV and radio PSAs, etc... It's nice that auto insurance companies do some of this, but they're businesses and the reason they should do it is to improve their bottom line. That's an analysis and decision they need to make.
