And as a politician his motto would be "A Bike in Every Garage" (cf. "A Chicken in Every Pot"). Heck it auda be a basic human right, enshrined in a UN Charter

I have no idea what you're blathering about, and you're referring to me. If you want to discuss something I wrote, then QUOTE IT. You are making up idiotic arguments I never posted and attributing them to me. That is called LYING.

That has nothing to do with anything, but a PI attorney or plaintiff would definitely agree with me that if you hurt somebody or damage their property, you gotta pay for it! That would be the whole purpose of bringing suit against you, to compel you to pay for wronging them. Am I going too fast here?

More of your nonsense. Why are you even trying to answer a post put to someone else?

But if you're pedaling over 10mph, get your BMX azz off the sidewalk.
2. Wrong way cyclists. Has any of the rest of you come across one of these geniuses on a blind curve downhill? I have. They need to be ticketed.
3. Red Light runners. Unless it's 5:00 AM, and the only sound that can be heard is sprinkler heads. Summer early morning rides nearly beg for rules to be bent.

I think cyclists should be ticketed for:
1) Not using lights at night
2) Riding on the sidewalk
3) Riding the wrong way
I don't think cyclists should be ticketed for safely executing rolling stops at stop signs or red lights.

It is people like you, and like a few others on this forum, who are responsible for the low esteem that many motorists have for cyclists. It is unfortunate because you are in the minority amongst cyclists (thank goodness), but the damage done is disproportionate and others suffer the consequences.

If the "the cyclist is never at fault" types here were more willing to admit that "cyclist-haters" are such a tiny minority among motorists then A&S probably would not be such a target for fun-making. As it is, seeing you guys all up on your crosses just makes it irresistible.

Even those here that support cyclist rather than immediately look to blame them, have found cases where we have clearly stated that the cyclist was at fault. Some of you just refuse to remember those cases.
Example: The salmon cyclist on one way street that could not see the light turn red and hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
A cyclist that hit an old lady on the road with no sidewalk and killed her (cyclist got same type of blame a motorist would have).
Cyclist that swerve in and out of parked cars without looking and sideswipe a passing motorist.
Ninja, Salmon cyclist which do not move off the road before collision, as would be required of a pedestrian, get much if not most of the blame.
For adult cyclist, the studies show that the motorist is at fault between 65 to 95% of the time depending where the study was performed. If you were to exclude the collisions caused by homeless or drunk cyclist, then regular recreational, commuter or utility cyclist are almost never at fault. You should remember that the next time you want to jump on the blame the cyclist first bandwagon.
So you do not understand what 1% means?
