NO. All I ever do is break the law, why would I go to a meeting to get them to enforce it.

Why would this get NYPD to enforce the law? esp. on the random light running biker? 1 million red lights are run by cars everyday in NYC. I would hope they would go after the 2000lb vehicle not the 22lbl vehicle. I don't plan on changing my riding style which involves breaking laws, which do not burden other road users with my safety.
I really want to go vince, hopefuly will see you there.

Cool! I can't wait to see what people have to say...
I'm gonna be the guy in a leather Canada jacket in case anyone's looking for me.

How was it? I briefly spoke to someone who is there, but didn't have any time to get the details...unfortunately I found out too late to make it.

A good point, Slvoid; has anyone been stopped by nypd after a flagrent violation while riding by themselves or one other rider? I know it happens, certainly happens to riders elsewhere on this forum, but I wonder how often and to whom.
I went but had to leave after 45 minutes, seemed like the usual crowd. The host welcomed Cops if any were there, I really don't think a copper could have passed as one of the attendees. Anyone come away with anything enlightening?

I know last week though, I was having dinner with my gf when the brooklyn CM went up montague street, it was sad, there were like, MAYBE 40 riders and I saw 6 police scooters, 3 police cars, and a police van.

What's real sad is that 3 cars and 6 scooter andd a van is honestly 1/3rd the usual police escort. Good thing we solved that terra threat and that drug scourge, or thosee cops would be a huge waste of overtime funds.

That's all I'm saying...
What has gotten into people's heads when a meeting of people to discuss something is called a "trap" because there might be a tape of it. Screw 'em! I'll bring the video camera and hand it to the police! What are they gonna charge me with? Wearing a jacket that didn't match my shoes?

I can honestly say, if I have to obey the law like most cars I see on my commute, it would really suck.
