The Worst Invention Of All Time!!

the jesus-mobile we're talking about elsewhere in the forum reminded me of this:

http://www.onlineorganizing.com/Prod...ing_Wheel_Desk

LOOKOUT CYCLISTS! doing makeup, shaving, reading.. i've seen all that. but playing MineSweeper while driving? that's just too much. now i know i'll have to start carrying a baseball bat when i ride, just for the principle of the dang thing..

Yeah, that's scary, but my vote goes for vibrating anal beads. Somehow I got talked into those last night and I'm so sore today. The morning commute on the ol' fixie was not pleasant this morning.

Just imagine the satisfaction of seeing someone's laptop being pried out of them after an accident. I love airbags.

If you read the text, they specify that it's to be used while parked. I imagine that it would be harder to read the screen if it's turning back and forth while moving, especially since most laptops have a limited viewing range...

But, on the upside, there would be a lot less senseless horn honking if everyone had one.

"they specify that it's to be used while parked"

They = Company's Lawyers. Rest assured (RIP?) average consumer will not read said warning, and drive merrily on.

Good one. The device will cost you $62.00 dollars! HA!

The site was one of those "Organizing" websites. I guess she should organize her funeral because I doubt she can see over the steering wheel with that thing!

When I was on the road for my company about a year ago, I wish I had one of those. Trying to use the laptop (while parked smart arses) in the car just sucked. That would've been pretty cool...

Remember the Maytag Repairman? This product should have the "Cyclist in Traction" for it's spokesperson!

I'm still waiting for a class action law suit to be filed against drive through fast-food joints.

Drive and eat a Big Mac at the same time? Ice cream dripping on the wheel? Big Gulp between the knees? Let me reach for those fries that fell between the seat and door.

Lets not forget that AAA study that found drivers occupied with doing other tasks that distracted them from driving such as, "eating/drinking" 71% of the time, 40% read books or newspapers and/or wrote things down while driving. - I wonder if the steering wheel laptop falls into the catagory of writing things down?

Stop don't give automobile manufactures any ideas. There next new invention will be a steering wheel integrated with a laptop.
