I agree, Tarek's simple rules make sense. Mine is to treat all the people I meet along the road as not so distant cousins. They're not close friends or family, but they are family.

Well, I meet the first criteria of this particular bike club, but some road users would mistakenly take certain aspects of my assertive riding style, to insure my personal safety at times, in not making the second criteria.

Can't join. Since I'm an exceptionally nice person, it's easier to slight me more than the average person. Because of that, when I'm an ass...I really enjoy being an ass!
