Driver charged with second degree murder for death of cyclist

Not all drivers get a slap on the hand. Of course charge is not conviction, but charge is the starting point.

key to moving charges from existing manslaughter to murder two were the drivers post about driving fast, hard and dangerous.

Awesome. Now we just need to get awareness out there to all drivers to watch out for peds and cyclists and that driving like an idiot can get someone killed and will result in a lengthy prison sentence, lost career, financial ruin, etc... I never cease to be shocked at some of the crazy driving and vehicular risk taking I witness every day. It's all fun and games until you are in an accident, then luck and the legal system take it from there.

Reading through some of the comments:

liberals suck
The new and improved product of Liberalism in America. Wait until they get tee'd off because they can't get their 'stuff' and have it 'their way'. You're in trouble, America.
California-Twitter- and *****exuality, that's it folks!
Thank God! Another Republican off the streets!
I am not at all trying to make this political, I have no interest in taking a shot at some end of the spectrum, I'm just absolutely amazed at the things that other commenters are able to see as political through their lens of the world.

It really takes a special breed to post political comments on the average news story on the internet. I can barely read thru half a dozen average comments before my brain explodes. Can't imagine what it takes to actually try to persuade random internet readers of a particular political view

Well obviously twitter is a liberal ploy to get idiots to confess their crimes moments after they are committed.... GRIN

Finally it sounds like justice is about to be served. When it comes to the bragging on line, it reminds me the the saying----------life is tough enough as it is, but its even worse if you are stupid!!!!
