HAMPTON — Forty-eight-year-old Cindy Sheppard, who is accused of giving drugs to a 19-year-old unlicensed driver hours before the teenager struck a group of bicyclists in Hampton with her car, pleaded guilty Monday to a group of previous drug charges.
Sheppard, of 51 Ocean Blvd., was sentenced to three to six years in prison after she pleaded guilty to six felonies alleging sale and possession of controlled drugs, including heroin, cocaine and crack, according to Superior Court staff.
This is not regarding the incident where two cyclists were killed during the Seacoast Century -- this trial is for previous drugs charges. But, same person that sold drugs to the killer the day she drove into the cyclists.
